Stone(s) have been tested and guaranteed using a professional Presidium Duo refractive, heat, and hardness tester. Stone cuts : Carved and polished cabochon. Handmade in the 1960s by a talented Native American silversmith.
900 sterling silver, also known as coin silver, a popular purity of silver during this time period. A beautiful mother of pearl cabochon adorns the ring's face. The stone rests in a saw tooth bezel setting.
One side of the mother of pearl is accented by a bright blue turquoise stone. A squash blossom-like motif of curling wire and bead designs surrounds the stones. Split shoulders taper into the smooth, polished band for secure wear.
There is minor wear and scratches to the mother of pearl stone, which does not affect wear, and the stone remains secure. Tarnish on the sterling silver gives the piece an antique quality we believe is rather lovely; tarnish can be removed with a buffing, if desired. The price has been reduced to reflect this.
